The North Bay Regional Health Centre (NBRHC) is seeking short and long term Diagnostic Imaging locums to provide support to its existing Radiologist group.
Description of Service: Interested DI candidates should be comfortable in working with all of the major diagnostic modalities (CT, MRI, US, x-ray, GI). Mammography and fluoroscopy is available but not required for locums. Non-vascular interventional procedures, including biopsies and drainages, etc. are also available but not a locum requirement if not comfortable.
NBRHC uses Philips PACS and Powerscribe One dictation software.
Locums are available in one week increments, and can also be arranged in longer terms.
Our Organization: The North Bay Regional Health Centre, constructed in 2011, is a 433 bed health care organization with acute care services including a 24/7 emergency department, 16 bed Critical Care Unit, inpatient adult and pediatric medicine, dialysis, endoscopy and bronchoscopy services, obstetrics, pathology and surgical subspecialties to the surrounding catchment areas of Mattawa, West Nipissing and Temiskaming. On-site diagnostic imaging services include x-ray, ultrasound, computed tomography, MRI, bone densometry and nuclear medicine.

Qualifications: Applicants are required to be certified in Radiology by the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada and independently licensed to practice in Ontario. Fellowship training is not required.
Remuneration: This position will be remunerated with a combination of OHIP fee for service billings and Hospital On-Call Compensation (HOCC). Our locums are HealthForce Ontario NSLP funded (respite+ coverage) which includes daily honorarium, travel sessionals as well as travel and accommodation expenses.
