We are seeking General Internists / Internal Medicine Physicians to join a busy outpatient clinic in Oshawa. We are seeking General Internists / Internal Medicine Physicians to join a busy outpatient clinic in Oshawa. This opportunity is ideal for physicians looking for a streamlined, well-supported practice environment with strong patient demand, steady volume, and the ability to focus on clinical care without unnecessary operational burden.
This is a fast-paced, organized setting where physicians can build and maintain a broad adult outpatient practice while working independently within a collaborative team environment.
The practice has a strong focus on cardiometabolic care and diabetes management. This is not an exploratory medicine practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient internal medicine care for adult patients
- Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions
- Deliver ongoing care for patients with complex medical needs and multiple comorbidities
- Support patients requiring cardiometabolic care and diabetes management
- Order and interpret laboratory investigations and diagnostic tests
- Develop treatment plans, manage follow-up care, and coordinate referrals as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using the clinic EMR
- Collaborate with clinic staff to support efficient, high-quality patient care in a busy setting

- Standard clinic hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a 1-hour lunch break
Compensation
- Fee-for-service split available
- 70/30 split
- Potential Full-Time Earnings: $700,000+
- Strong patient volumes to support robust earnings
Qualifications
- MD or equivalent with training in Internal Medicine
- Licensed with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO), or eligible for independent licensure in Ontario
- Strong clinical judgment and comfort managing a broad range of adult medical conditions in an outpatient setting
- Experience or interest in cardiometabolic care and diabetes management is an asset
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, patient-centred approach
- Senior physicians are encouraged to apply; all qualified candidates will be considered
