I am seeking a locum physician to cover a maternity leave for my FHO practice in Port Dover, Ontario (135 km from downtown Toronto on the shores of Lake Erie). My practice consists of just over 1000 patients but does include many snowbirds, so should be easily covered by 2-3 days per week. There are additionally opportunities for surgical assist dates (2 days/month at our local hospital) and Saturday walk-in clinics which are billed out-of-basket (both of these opportunities would be optional). Ideally I am hoping for 6 months' coverage but would happily address enquiries for physicians who felt they could cover a portion of this time. 

The physician would be working in a very collegial group with 2 other physicians, 2 MOAs, and one receptionist shared amongst the group. EMR is Telus Practice Solutions. Should you wish to remain in the area following your locum experience please note there is also a current available spot within our FHO.

Norfolk County is on the list of high physicians needed, therefore qualifies for $40,000 in student loan forgiveness.
