The North Bay Regional Health Centre is seeking a Rheumatologist to join our Department of Medicine. Job Description: The successful applicant will provide inpatient/outpatient consultations in the management of inflammatory arthritis, connective tissue disease, vasculitis and crystal arthropathies. Collaborative support is available from the North Eastern Joint assessment Clinic. There is also an option to participate in the call rota for the Service of Internal Medicine, currently represented by members of Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Cardiology, Respirology, General Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.
Our Organization: The North Bay Regional Health Centre, constructed in 2011, is a 433 bed health care organization with acute care services including a 24/7 emergency department, 16 bed Critical Care Unit, inpatient adult and pediatric medicine, dialysis, endoscopy and bronchoscopy services, obstetrics, pathology and surgical subspecialties to the surrounding catchment areas of Mattawa, West Nipissing and Temiskaming. On-site diagnostic imaging services include x-ray, ultrasound, computed tomography, MRI, bone densometry and nuclear medicine.

Qualifications: Qualified applicants will have licensure to practice independently in Ontario and a standing Rheumatology fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
