We are seeking a locum to cover a Clinic (Sunset Country Family Health Team) and On-Call Obstetrics/C-Section (Lake of the Woods District Hospital) to support coverage during vacation. Opportunities for reoccurring locums are available and if you are interested in full-time, please let us know!

Sunset Country Family Health includes 3 clinics (Lakeside, Kenora and Keewatin) and is comprised of nurse practitioners, nurses, dietitians, a pharmacist and chiropodist and other specialties.  

The Lake of Woods District Hospital is a 66 bed fully accredited and teaching hospital that offers a full range of emergency and ambulatory care, mental health, maternal and child health, and acute care services which include general medicine, intensive care, surgical services, and palliative care. It also manages a broad range of outpatient services including dialysis, chemotherapy, diagnostic imaging, mammography, ultrasound, CT, visiting specialist clinics, addiction counseling and detoxification, a sexual assault program, physiotherapy and rehabilitation services, and various education programs.

Remuneration is $1,749,77 per 8hr Clinic day with 40% OHIP Billings plus $547.32/day for On-Call Obstetrics. Support with OHIP Billings provided by our finance department. 

Required Qualifications: 

Current (or eligible to apply for) valid independent license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, proof of appropriate CMPA coverage.
